FAQ's

What is a Trouble Maker?

Rebel, free spirit, wild child, trouble maker.  Those were some of the titles I earned in my youth.  I worked hard for those titles.  Pretty sure my parents had some other, less flattering, titles for me back in those days, but we won’t go there.  Time goes on, responsibilities pile up, and the world asks you to be more mature, more settled, more conforming.  Then one day you wake up and wonder where that free spirited little trouble make ran off to, only to realize that she’s been there all along – you’d just shushed her one too many times.  Well, no more shushing my dear sweet trouble makers out there!  Go stir up some fun, dance naked under the full moon, love with abandon, say “nay” to the naysayers, be your own Pollyanna, follow your heart and your inner compass, smile until your face hurts, and make just a little bit of trouble.

Where are Makin Trouble products made?

All Makin Trouble products are made by hand in Kentucky, USA by our head Trouble Maker - Rochelle.

Why does Makin Trouble use upcycled materials in their products?

Making purses and other products with upcycled fabric is a great idea for several reasons, from reducing environmental impact to promoting individual creativity. The practice gives new life to discarded textiles, creating unique accessories that are both stylish and sustainable.

Do you offer custom orders?

Because everything we create is made of upcycled or found fabrics, it is challenging to do custom orders, but shoot us an e-mail with your request, and we'll try our very best to accommodate.
